Visitors
Visitors are most welcome at the Ballymacad Hunt but this should be arranged in advance. Our Saturday meets are typically in the more open country side of Meath and Westmeath with our Tuesday meets in the more "trappy" Cavan country. We limit the number of visitors to 10 per meet to respect the land and landowners. Please book early so as not to be disappointed. You can arrange your day out with us through our Masters, a hunt member, or directly with our hunt secretary.
Accommodation for both rider and horse can be arranged. We also organise hunting packages for either a days hunting or for weekend packages.
These packages can be tailored to suit your own interests. This could include two days hunting with the Ballymacads and one day with an adjoining pack. Also hunting on foot with beagles could be arranged. The accommodation can be in a local period house or in a local hostelry/B&B. Visits can also be arranged to the many local historical places.( Loughcrew, Fore etc).
Ample assistance will be provided by hunt members, if required, during your stay - feel free to ask.
If you would like further information please use our contacts page and we will send on our package information or contact us directly through our secretary, Ann Marie Galligan +353(87)2336205.
